Hidemine (Buhô) Jibiki

The only non-Chinese to receive the inner teachings from Grandmaster of the Chung-nan lineage, Wang Shujin

Born in 1927. From his youth, Jibiki-sensei diligently studied Karate and Jujutsu, until he met Master Wang Shujin, and was exposed to Chinese martial arts. Since that time, he has devoted his life to studying and teaching the internal arts of T'ai-chi, Hsing-i, and Pa-kua. He was the only non-Chinese honored in being chosen to receive the inner teachings of Wang himself. In addition, he also has studied, and teaches, ancient Japanese soft styles such as Daitô-ryû and Shin Kage-ryû. Master Jibiki is president of the AJSSMAF,  the Japan Chapter of the International Cheng-ming Kung-fu Association, and of the Japan branch of the International Chinese Kuoshu Federation. Anyone who practices push-hands with Master Jibiki will be amazed by the depth of the power that wells from this gentle-mannered, soft-spoken man of over seventy. He is also a Fourth-generation student of Pa-kua Chang founder, Tung Hai-ch'uan.
